The biologically redesigned "Hebikera" that appears in one of Studio Ghibli's masterpieces "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind" is a chrysomelid, which is a type of flying bug. It is similar to a centipede, with wings like a dragonfly, sharp fangs and 3 shining orange eyes. It also has a protrusion on the tip of its tail, on which Nausicaa's Mowe collides in the movie and then crashes.
It has been finished with rust color to look good as an ornament, while at the same time having all the characteristics of a posable figure. It has 45 articulation points on its body, connected to the articulated joints in its inner frame. It's possible to put it in a wriggling position and thus recreate the movie scene where it elegantly dances in the sky.
The fangs on its head and lower jaw can be widely opened and closed, and all the wings can be freely moved one by one, making it possible to faithfully recreate its movements as in the movie.
