Bandai (Guangzhou) Co. Ltd., the Chinese subsidiary of Bandai Group - Namco has created, for promotional purposes, a statue of the Gundam RX-78-2 high about 6 meters, ie 1/3 of the real. Exhibited at the eighth edition of "China International Animation, Cartoon and Game Fair" held in Shanghai between 12 and 16 July, it is characterized by the new color in collaboration with the Yankai study of Beijing.
The Beijing Yankai cultural development Co., Ltd., Founded and directed by Yan Kai is also involved in the adaptation of Mobile Suit Gundam UC for publication in the magazine published by Guangzhou Tian Man Tianwen Kadokawa Comics & Animation Co. Ltd.
This limited output faithfully reproduces the coloring of the statue. Available at first only in the event, was later also distributed in stores in Japan Bandai.
