The Thermal Vision Fugitive Predator comes packaged in a nice, collector friendly, window box. The design shares a lot of similar elements to the flapped box of the Ultimate Fugitive Predator. The front also features the poster art that the figure is based on. The back of the packaging showcases a few photos of the figure itself, as well as a short synopsis of the film. The Predator sits in a plastic tray, with a few twist ties holding it in. Four removable wrist blades are included. The packaging is definitely nice looking overall, and the window is large enough for the figure to really stand out on the shelf.
When the Fugitive Predator was released, it featured an all-new sculpt that was packed with articulation. The figure stands a little over 8″ tall with about 30 points of articulation. This release takes that excellent mold and casts the figure in a translucent blue plastic, with added paint to simulate the thermal vision look. The joints are cast in solid blue plastic, but blend in quite nicely. This is likely done to add some stability and guard against breakage issues (translucent plastic can tend to be more brittle). The joints are all nice and solid here. There’s no paint locking issues here and I had no trouble keeping the figure standing in any poses. Double jointed knees and elbows are always welcome, and make for some fun dynamic posing options. The shoulder mounted cannon is articulated as well (and those seem to be a bit tighter than the standard version).
